Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-01
These Terms govern your use of ReleaseDesk Cloud at example.com (the "Service"), operated by Individual Entrepreneur -, identification code 0000, Not provided, Georgia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use the Service
The Service is for businesses and professionals acting in the course of their trade, business or profession. It is not offered to consumers. You confirm that you are authorised to bind the organisation you sign up for.
2. Accounts and organisations
- You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for the security of that account and for everything done under your organisation.
- Organisation owners control membership, roles, API tokens and signing keys. Keep tokens and signing keys secret and rotate them if exposed.
- Provide accurate contact details and keep them current.
3. Your content
- You own the builds, release notes, metadata and other content you upload ("Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and deliver it solely to run the Service for you and your end users.
- You are responsible for the legality of your Content, for having the rights to distribute it, and for the code-signing and store policies that apply to your apps.
- We do not review Content in advance and do not sign your builds for you.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- distribute malware, spyware or software that violates law or third-party rights;
- attack, probe or overload the Service, or bypass plan limits or rate limits;
- resell the Service or build a competing hosted service from it;
- send unsolicited messages through tester invitations or email features.
We may remove Content or suspend access if we reasonably believe these rules are broken or to comply with law, and will tell you when practical.
5. Plans, limits and fair use
The Service is offered on the Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise plans described on our pricing page. Each plan has limits (for example apps, members, storage and registry repositories). We do not charge for egress or download bandwidth. When a limit is reached, new uploads, invitations or apps may be blocked; delivery of already published releases and update feeds continues. We may change plans and prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Payment and subscriptions
- Paid plans are sold by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle processes payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes, and issues invoices. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the billing section of your organisation settings or through the link in your Paddle receipt; the plan then stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
- If a payment fails we may restrict the organisation to Free plan limits after a 14-day grace period.
7. Availability and support
We aim for 99.5% monthly availability but do not guarantee it, except where an Enterprise agreement says otherwise. We may perform maintenance and will try to announce planned downtime in advance. Support channels and response targets per plan are listed on the pricing page.
8. Data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we process personal data of your end users on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum applies and forms part of these Terms.
9. Termination and data export
You may stop using the Service and delete your organisation at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment or legal reasons. After termination you can export your Content for 30 days, after which we delete it, except where law requires us to keep it (for example invoices held by Paddle or us).
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for testing updates before delivering them to end users.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill. Our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Content or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Open-source edition
The self-hosted ReleaseDesk software is a separate product licensed under the GNU General Public License v3. These Terms apply only to the hosted Service, not to your use of the open-source code.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia, after a good-faith attempt to resolve them by contacting support@releasedesk.dev.
